P K Joy had been an empanelled consultant to The World Bank, The Asian Development Bank, UNDP, and The Islamic Development Bank. As a visiting professor he teaches at a few technical universities and management institutes. He is a life member of the quasi-government body The Indian Society for Technical
Education. He is a life member the Indian Council for Arbitration and a life member of The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry's Panel of Experts for Alternate Dispute Resolution. Joy is on the panel of Padma Bhushan Dr. Sarada Menon for non-medical counselling.
